It was the accuracy of the information, that was made available to the decision makers, that was questioned by Ahok and led to his decision to raise the minimum wage. It is always tiring listening to the media who tend to focus on short-term effects. No time on air I guess to debate short v. medium v. long term effects... Knowing the history of 'Jokowi' and 'Ahok'; I expect to see more policies that will ruffle the feathers of Jakarta's middle and upper classes.
