Hello again! I’m
writing this post from Bali, at a beautiful villa, where I’m currently lying in
the sun beside the pool with a cold beer. The sun is shining, the birds are
singing, the other birds are smiling… it’s fantastic. Are you suitably jealous
I’m going to
go a little UK-centric in this article, so if you’ve ever worked in the UK,
this could be very important; if not, I hope you find it informative.
It’s time for
the UK’s 2012 budget this week (Wednesday 21st March), where the Chancellor
of the Exchequer, George Osborne, will lay out the Government’s plans for the
UK economy and public finances for the year ahead.
*This is worth reading all the way to the end,
even if I say so myself…
As an amateur psychologist,
I find it fascinating that people seem to love being lied to. Of course they
won’t admit to that, and no one would openly set out with the intention of
being deceived, but it happens so
often that you have to question it.
